Kanton-Quiz  ·  Last updated: October 2026

Kanton-Quiz is developed and published by Patrick Hardie ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how.

Data I collect

I collect no personal data. No account is needed to play. Your scores, achievements and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to me.

Apple frameworks

• StoreKit: the "No Adverts" in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple. The app only receives confirmation that the purchase was made; no payment details are shared with me.
• Sharing: if you choose to share a score, the text goes to the app you pick through the standard share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you do this yourself.

Advertising

On iPhone and iPad, the free version shows banner ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information and usage data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other apps, so your device's advertising identifier is not shared. Buying "No Adverts" removes all ads. The Mac version contains no ads.

Analytics and crash reporting

The app contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools. Apple may collect diagnostic data if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children and has no features that ask for it.

Changes to this policy
